I have separately contacted Kate and Catrina but fear my emails might have been lost. I am looking for someone I can hire to build a custom menu for me on Platformpro. Nothing fancy, no dropdowns, just a different look and feel. You can contact me at paul@psaudio.com if you're interested. Thanks

Are you looking for styling/CSS changes or something more graphical?

Styling, CSS changes is all I think I am looking for. I have a fairly detailed description available if you want to email me - but this forum won't let me upload graphics so it would be difficult. paul@psaudio.com and I'll give you the details.

I have the iBlog Pro platform in place and want to add a custom looking menu in the header. I tried going through the support forums but in the end, don't have enough experience at CSS to know what I am doing.

You can see the prototype site we're working on here:

The menu you see at the top is the standard menu. What I want is what Apple has - just a bit darker shinier black - but also incorporating our logo for the home button in exactly the same way. The size, rounded corners, rollover properties and all of the Apple menu is perfect. I don't need any drop down capabilities.

I want to maintain the same flexibility of changing menu items and URL's as Wordpress currently gives me, just change the look to be like the above. Thus, with an image and CSS we should be good.

The logo I want to use, in place of the Apple logo in the home button, is located here: Posted Image

I would, of course, give you full access to the site so you can mess with the stylesheet if you need - although I would prefer to keep the idea of the Platform Pro custom CSS so any future theme upgrades from Pageline would not eliminate the changes - and I can certainly add the custom CSS myself if someone makes it..

Please let me know if anyone's interested and what the cost might be.

I would add one more thing, the color of the lettering for the menu should match the color of my logo.

The good thing you have going for you is that the CSS for apple can be viewed in Firebug although I can't get it to show up for the hover class. They have CSS in there that I've never seen before so I'm afraid it's way over my head. :(

OK thanks for looking. I am not sure it has to be the same, I just want it to look the same style. Maybe someone else here is interested?

First you'll need the same style buttons that Apple has then the CSS can be used to apply them to your navigation. They look pretty common, so I'm sure you can find them for free if you search. Most of them are in Photoshop or Illustrator format, so the button you want will need to be saved as a JPG before uploading to the media library.

Catrina, is this something I could pay you to do? Get the graphics, write the CSS and make work for me?

I'm not sure if you have already found someone to help you, but I do freelance design work all the time and would be happy to take the project on. There is contact info on my website: tuckyhut.com Thanks, Robert

psaudio, I think Robert would be the best candidate for the work. :) I am occupied with my final week of school so my availability is a bit choppy.
