This may seem a little odd, maybe not, but I have made a category called "SEO" where we will be putting SEO information that we do not want to show to our blog readers. Where do I go to edit the coding to omit or exclude that particular category? It is category ID#3. I tried to find tutorials on how to do it, and I found one tutorial from smashing magazine, but I don't know what file they're referencing and I looked through many of the files and couldn't seem to find the right php file. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

first question, where would you like to exclude it from? I would look for a plugin to accomplish the task something like "exclude pages" for excluding pages from navigation.

arpowers: Well we have a separate page called "blog" next to the home page button. Inside the "blog" page is where we are showing our blog posts. I'd like to have it where all blogging categories show except for the one listed SEO.

I found a plugin which handles category exclusions.
