I tried adding a feature and some boxes to the default posts page, but I can't customize it like I want to because the posts page cannot be edited the way a static page can. So is there any way I can just add the blog loop to the content area of a static page? I don't need two content areas so the loop would be a content replacement, if that helps. Thank you :-)

You can either create a new section, as described in this post:

or you can copy template.postloop.php into your base child theme's root directory and modify it to do what you want.

Hi there! Sorry for the delay in my response - it doesn't look like either option will work because I am using a Wordpress network and this is a sub-site and I don't want to alter the site as a whole, just this one page. I wish there was a drag and drop loop in the template area :-( Is there anything I can do to possibly modify the posts 'page'?
