With the move towards the mobile web are there any plans to develop a mobile template for any of the themes. I have several plugins that do this but they involve changing code, adapting the platform for the various features and just general hassle to use. Plus the cost of course because these are never cheap. Just asking if its in the mix for a later release. Kevin

Even better than just "mobile", what about the possibility of a "responsive" PlatformPro, allowing for layouts/display changes based on screen width. This would cover the ability to do mobile and tablet designs. As a UX designer in the ad world, mobile and tablet compatibility is quickly becoming very important to our clients. There are responsive base themes out there to start from, but I'd much rather be able to continue using PlatformPro instead.

Is andrew going to chime in? I would like to know the answer too! There are mobile themes for download, but with the Pro version of Platform, one would also expect a mobile theme! Can't wait to hear the response!

Hi, I actually use Pageline PlatformBase, together with two mobile plug-ins: WordPress Mobile Pack and WPtouch. They apply to all themes, and based on Mobile User Agent (Symbian, iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone 7, Palm) info mobile userinterface is shown. Even my pages are in Finnish, some pictures/examples in English: http://doaudit.fi/bl...mobile-example/ WPtouch free version does not give iPad customisation but if you have iPad, try with Safari http://www.doaudit.fi/ and you see what I mean by WPtouch Pro plug-in. Hopefully explains how to use "mobile theme customisation". I use Genesis platform also, Pagelines and Genesis both handle extremely well mobile issues. best regards Jari
