WhiteHousePro Theme Showcase Topic

Mine is DiscernThis!.
My previous free theme was three years old and didn't support WP custom menus. I originally purchased Platform Pro but was overwhelmed with it, so I double-downed and purchased the Pro Plus Membership after deciding I could live with WHP.
My intent was to simply mimic the WHP demo as a means to learn and understand the Pagelines schemes generally. I wanted to migrate my existing site as quickly as possible, then "incrementally enhance" it as I go.
Not counting my false start with Platform Pro, I've spent about 12 hours on this so far, which includes about 2 hours dealing with an issue on the feature slider (it drops the 4th image, showing only 3). Thanks to Catrina for helping troubleshoot it and referring to developers.
In addition to exploiting a few of the WHP built-in bells and whistles, I've added a couple of things I really like: the quotation display in the footer that pulls from a stock of over 150 quotes that I kept on my previous site on one long page, and the NextGen Gallery slideshow in the sidebar.

As a side note, I was never able to get the slider feature to show only the number of slides I had. It always showed one more (a blank slide) or one less than I had so I stopped using it, but I wish Pagelines would refocus on WHP again to fix these minor but painful bugs.

I recently got tired of free themes and all the PHP editing and Bad supports. Drove me nuts as I'm not the best PHP editor online (actually, I might be the worst).
I never thought I'd ever BUY a theme, but when I saw Pagelines themes, it all changed. I wanted the highlight page so bad, that I bought it without thinking about it. Of course, I bought Platform Pro and tried to turn it white (!).. When I found out that WHP is almost a copy.. Just in white! So I changed (luckily) my license to WHP.
I'm currently using almost all of WHP features.. OR at least trying, why? Because it's a great way to share information, and to get a tidy and neat way of providing it. So many sidebars! I love it, I'm finding them all useful from time to time, especially if you try to create an unique page in the sense of that none of the page or grandchild pages look like each other.
I've added a few useful plugins as a you tube widget and a Forum widget. And a few plugins running in the background. The rest WHP can handle, and that's what I love about it. No more sketchy PHP.
My site is called www.on-hands.com
I'll be uploading my own buttons for the slider, favicon, Logo and Banner as soon am done with Designing them!
PS:billwsashnet; How did you get your frontpage to be an exact lookalike to the WHP demo? I want to do that to!
