Circle D Wildlife Refuge

The Circle D Wildlife Refuge was born into existence in 2004. Finding five little raccoons in a den tree behind Jeff and Pam DeCuyperes barn was the seed. It was late March and Jeff had unknowingly dispatched their mother. She had found a way into their hen coop located close to the den tree. Dedicated to the traditions of hunting for over 40 years, Jeff thought little about his actions. After a couple of days Pam firmly requested that Jeff go up the tree to determine what had been crying out for the past 24 hours. It was the five kit coons; hungry, cold and in serious need of help. This was just the beginning!
